Print Details
Giclée print on 340gsm Hahnemühle Canvas Artist canvas. "Giclée" refers to a high-quality inkjet reproduction. We work with the latest technology, using Canon ImagePROGRAF PRO6000 printers and Lucia Pro pigmented inks. This, in conjunction with Hahnemühle's FineArt InkJet Paper line, ensures the process meets all museum conservation standards.
The reproduced image is photographed in high quality to achieve optimal resolution and intentionally capture the original texture of the canvas. The result is a more realistic-looking print.
Each piece is hand-painted with acrylic paint (the amount of work may vary from one reproduction to another) and signed in graphite and acrylic by Josefa Cordua.
Color
Please note that colors may vary from screen to screen. Colors are represented as accurately as possible, but we recommend checking on multiple screens if you have any concerns.
Framing
The frame you need depends on the type of print you choose. I have two types:
Prints without frame:
These are loose prints, similar to posters or photographs, for framing with glass. They come with a 1 cm white border for easy framing. They can be framed with or without a mat.
For smaller prints, a more affordable option is to use standard photo frames (20 x 25 cm or 30 x 40 cm). For larger sizes, I recommend custom framing.
Stretched prints:
This option offers a more finished look, similar to an original work. The canvas is stretched over a 2cm deep wooden frame and can be hung directly or framed (without glass).
The prints do not come framed, but if you would like to do so with me, please send me a message using the contact form or to contacto@josefacordua.com .
Commissions
From time to time, I do commissions in my style, usually landscapes. You can order a single painting, choosing the reference photo and dimensions (minimum 100 x 100 cm).
If you're interested, please write to me using the form or directly to my email: contacto@josefacordua.com . It takes me approximately two months to order. I'm currently working with a waiting list, so if you'd like one, please consider that delivery will be in the future.
Classes
If you'd like to learn to paint with me, you can join my individualized group classes. I'll guide you through your personal project based on your level.
We work in acrylic and figurative painting. Classes are once a week and last two and a half hours.
If you are interested in signing up or learning more, please email me at contacto@josefacordua.com .
